Also known as Giebbnevárre, this beautiful destination is perfect for a Sunday hike!
The trail starts at Lønsdal train station, where you can park your car if you’re driving. From the station, you’ll easily find the marked trail leading to Kjemåvatnet. The path is well maintained and pleasant to walk on.
After around 3 km, you’ll arrive at Kjemåvatnet, where you’ll find a cosy grilling area and stunning views of the lake. In summer, it’s also a great spot for a refreshing swim!
