When staying at Saltdal Tourist Center, Junkerdalsura Natural Park is your closest neighbor.
Junkerdalsura, which begins right at the centre, is a beautiful canyon with rich flora, including the orchid «marisko».
In the surrounding area, there are several popular hiking trails that have been designed with accessibility in mind. You will also find shelters and fire-pits here. Several suspension bridges tie the trail system together and provide hiking opportunities in several directions.
